
KIRTI College BAF Department was established on 2013 and since then is working successfully .Itsbeen 8 years and the department has grown leaps and bounds.
B.COM (A&F) is a three years self –financing degree course. The three years are spread over six semesters, i.e., each year has two semesters. The course allows the students to obtain an in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Finance. It also provides opportunities to gain a broader insight into financial aspects of Business and Management.

It is a two-dayprogramme conducted during December 2020.
The theme of the event is Investment in which we showcase the importance of investment to all the students. There were many students who participated and became a part of this event. The students organized this festival by combining their experience from all other events in which they participated like R.D National College, Khalsa College, NMITD and other Inter and Intra festivals of Kirti College.
The chief guests included Mr. MaheshChavan& Mr. SanketKorlekar.

3. Participation in Inter-College Events
TYBAF students had participated and won at various inter collegiate events. They participated along with the cultural department and contributed towards the victory for the best college in the Prarambh Festival organized by Hinduja College, Charni Road. They learned many new things from the experience obtained at various events and the students from other colleges whom they interacted and competed with.
4. Report Presentation for Foundation Course
FY BAF students had presented the project reports in front of the class covering topics such as Human rights, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan and Drug Abuse.
5. PowerPoint Presentation for Business Environment (Commerce) II –
FY BAF students had prepared presentations on various topics ranging from CSR of Companies to social awareness such as Swatch Bharat Abiyan, Women Empowerment, Human Trafficking and initiatives such as Make in India and the history and evolution of Multimedia and entertainment and various new phenomena such as gaming.
The students learned a lot from the diverse and unique topics covered by each presentation. This program had been honored by Jidnya Madam.
6. Personality Development Workshop:
A workshop for personality development was conducted for the students where they were taught various important skills useful for their future. This lecture was conducted by Prof. YaminiMathur who is an experienced industry veteran.
7. Lecture on Research Methodology & Collection and interpretation of Data for Project work:
A special lecture was conducted by Prof. Krupa Shah who is the Co-Ordinator of the BAF dept. of RD Shah & National College. The students were taught about the importance of Data interpretation and important steps of project making.


8. Kirti College BAF Department Amritsar-Dharamshala-McLeod GanjIndustrial Visit 13thFeb 2020 to 21st Feb 2020.
A 10-day Industrial Visit was conducted to Amritsar-Dharamshala-McLeod Ganj. Students visited famous places such as The Golden Temple at Amritsar, the HPCA cricket stadium and the Dalai lama’s Monastery.
The students visited a paper cutting machine production facility for the purpose of industrial visit.
